A MODERN APPROACH TO EUCLIDEAN GEOMETRY

At the turn of this century the mathematician David Hilbert wrote his Foundations of Geometry in which he developed plane Euclidean geometry as an abstract mathematical system. The undefined elements of this mathematical system are point and line and the undefined relations are incidence, betweenness and congruence.
