I understand that both the University of Lethbridge and the University of Alberta will accept Mathematics 13, 23, 33 in lieu of Mathematics 10, 20, 30 as a prerequisite for entrance to certain programs, but that the University of Calgary has refused to do so.
With regard to the Alberta Mathematics Teachers’ Conference held at the University of Calgary last fall, I, as others probably are, am somewhat disappointed with the discussions carried on.
