Learning Arithmetic Facts Can Be Fun

This year I think I know how the Pied Piper must have felt. The magic word is “arithmetic” and the wonderland is a room filled with numeral cubes, equation cards, math wagons, answer boards, walk-on multiplications tables, and other arithmetic games, gimmicks, and manipulative devices.
