When I accepted the invitation to speak at this session of your conference, I deliberated on what I could discuss with you that would be worth your time, because I feel a deep sense of responsibility for providing a few ideas which will repay you for your attendance at this meeting. I thought about an open letter from Dan Valentine, a columnist for a Salt Lake City newspaper, concerning his son starting school.
