Journal of the Mathematics Council of the Alberta Teachers’ Association
Volume 14 Issue 1, October 1974
Welcome back
We welcome you back and hope that your teaching experience will be a joyful one throughout this school year. AND we want you to know that MCATA is here to help you in the field of mathematics.
This issue of Delta-K is going to all schools to give teachers and administrators an idea of what MCATA is doing for its members. Of course, in one issue we cannot possibly show everything that is offered – only a small sampling.
In many editions of Delta-x we include special activities which might be useful for reinforcement and/or enrichment in specific areas. Volume XIII, Number 4, June 1974, contains 10 pages of such activities. We will be very pleased to receive similar ideas from YOU – ideas which you have used in your classes and would like to share with your fellow teachers. We will accept any worthwhile idea for print even if it is still in rough draft. Your editor is more than willing to help you make Delta-K a publication for Alberta teachers from Alberta teachers.
