Eight Ideas for Using the Computer in Elementary Mathematics

Computer use has been categorized in a variety of ways. For example, Taylor (1980) has compiled a set of readings that describe the computer as a tutor, tool and tutee. A more extensive taxonomy might include at the least the following uses.
